Kurt pioneered the development of precision workholding for CNC machines in the late 1950s with the world-famous AngLock® vise. Today, the company’s workholding products include CNC vises, 5-axis vises, Rotary Table workholding solutions for VMCs and ToolBlox tombstones. These products integrate with Kurt’s high-density workholding towers and other devices.

Collaboration Results

Mazak named Kurt a VIP in August 2013 because of the company’s dedication to providing the ultimate in high-productivity, high-precision workholding for more than 50 years. Like Mazak, Kurt also shows a strong commitment to customer satisfaction through the continuous improvement of its products and operations. Together, the two companies will create new manufacturing solutions and training initiatives to improve the machining processes of their customers.
