Mazak Receives Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award

Florence, Kentucky, January 10, 2012 – Mazak today announced that it has received a 2011 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Mazak maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2010 to Sept. 30, 2011.

This is the second consecutive year in which Mazak has achieved this prestigious accolade. For 2011, Boeing recognized a total of 529 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Mazak is among 407 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.

Mazak supplies a wide range of Multi-Tasking machines and milling centers to Boeing for a variety of the company’s metal cutting operations.
