Florence, Kentucky, January 21, 2009 – Mazak customers are cordially invited to attend an Open House at the company's Southwest Headquarters and Energy Services Technology Center on February 10 and 11, 2009. The Houston-based facility is one of eight Technology Centers in North America and thirty-three around the globe.
Open House visitors will witness the debut of Mazak's new HYPER QUADREX 450M, a two-turret turning center with robust milling capabilities designed to maximize productivity in large part machining. With the industry’s largest integral motor/headstock with 7.2” spindle bore, the HYPER QUADREX 450M offers excellent value to manufacturers producing large-diameter shafts and pipes for industries such as energy, off-road vehicles and construction equipment.
In addition to the HYPER QUADREX 450M, Mazak will offer demonstrations on the following machines: HORIZONTAL CENTER NEXUS 6000, INTEGREX 400-IV S, INTEGREX e-420HS-II, INTEGREX e-500HS, QUICK TURN NEXUS 350MY and the VARIAXIS 730.
Visitors will also have an opportunity to participate in two technical seminars. Product specialists from Mazak will host "Increase Your Cash Flow with Fewer People," while representatives from cutting tool manufacturer Sandvik Coromant will present "Innovative Tooling Technologies."
The event will take place from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on both days, with lunch served from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Refreshments will also be provided.
